It’s about time we had a community blog for Madison comics lovers who frequent that beloved black hole that is Capital City Comics! Anyone can post here on all things comics - just send us your name and email (either by posting a comment below, or leaving it at the store) and we’ll set you up as an author/contributor. Let us know what types of information and content you would like to have here - e.g., recommendations, reviews, topic categories, who’s who, etc. - so we can design and build this thing together.

Hey - glad to see that Capital City Comics has a web presence! Just a suggestion for newbies searching for info on Cap City online - but should the address and hours be published somewhere? Maybe they’re in the other tabs - I haven’t checked yet! ~ Dan
My earliest recollection of Capital City was when I was in Jr. High and my Dad drove me roughly 60 miles to Capital so I could spend my monthly paper route check. I don’t remember exactly what I bought but I do remember getting the Vision and Scarlet Witch mini-series (both) and the Hercules mini-series (both). My total was over $100 and I had to borrow a little from my Dad. Good times!

I agree. A great idea and something that comic fans can really use. I would like to see Q&A with fellow fans. Reviews. Comic history. Want lists for locals who want to swap, etc. For what it is worth, I read Secret Invasion #1 and I must say I really enjoyed it. I would like to know what others think of it.
TO WAYNE, I LIKED SECRET INVASION SO FAR AS WELL, RIGHT NOW I’M CURRENTLY ENJOYING WOLVERINE ORIGINS THE MOST, I WILL BE GETTING INTO THE NEW CAP SERIES AS WELL, I’M FAIRLY NEW TO COMICS, I ENJOY DETAILED ART IN MY COMICS AND ORIGINAL STORY LINES, I READ ALOT OF MARVEL (EXCEPT SPIDER-MAN) I REALLY LIKE THE NEW HULK SO FAR! DOES ANYONE RECOMMEND ANY GOOD HARD COVERS THAT ENVOLVE MARVEL CHARACTERS? DID ANYONE READ PLANET HULK, I THOUGHT IT WAS GREAT, I WANT TO TRY SOME IRON MAN, DON’T KNOW WHERE TO REALLY START THOUGH, ANY RECOMMENDATIONS, OH, AND THE KICK-ASS COMIC HOPEFULLY TURNS INTO SOMETHING AWESOME, WILLING TO TRADE, BUY, SELL ETC. WAYNE WOULD YOU LIKE A SECRET INVASION VARIANT COVER? AND IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO GET RID OF SOME OF THEIR OLDER COMICS, I MIGHT BE INTERESTED, I LIKE COMPLETE RUNS! THANKS
